For 2009, the CCATA Annual Merit Award was presented to Professor Rick Linden of the University of Manitoba in recognition of his contribution to the Winnipeg Auto Theft Suppression Strategy (WATSS) and its contribution in reducing Auto Theft in Winnipeg.
Winner of the 2007 CCATA Annual Merit Award = Gywnn EDWARDS of the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
